Situated on the south coast of Paraiba, Pitimbu has the biggest and most beautiful unspoilt beach areas including Praia Bela, Barra do Abiai, Costa do Marlin, Praia Azul, Santa Rita, Acau and Pontinha. A coral barricade called Galeas, is a tourist paradise which is reachable using a little boat or raft from the local fishermen when the tide is low.
